Miracles & Magic

Miracles & Magic is a collaboration between A Kid Again and the Miracles & Magic Foundation, bringing world-class entertainment to families raising a child battling a life-threatening condition.

For a few hours, families set aside the shots, hospital visits, and daily weight of it all to laugh, wonder, and simply be a family again. Over 24 years and nearly 100 performers, Miracles & Magic has welcomed thousands of families through its doors while raising critical funds for A Kid Again.

MIRACLES & MAGIC

Founding Story

The idea for Miracles & Magic was inspired by a chance meeting in a hospital when Jon Petz, a mentalist, magician, and inspirational speaker, was asked to perform for a child fighting a serious illness. That experience led Jon to find ways to share the magic of that moment while raising funds to bring hope and healing to others.

Miracles & Magic began in 2002 in a high school theater in Dublin, Ohio, where a few hundred children and their families enjoyed the very first show. Today, Miracles & Magic serves as one of the year-round Adventures for families enrolled in A Kid Again, a national nonprofit that provides hope, happiness, and healing for children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
